Mr Ali-Khan undertook the majority of his surgical training in Bristol and Exeter, before obtaining his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009. He then undertook specialist fellowships in skin cancer (at the Melanoma Institute, in Sydney, Australia), aesthetic surgery (in Bristol and London, UK) and microsurgical reconstruction (at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, UK).
Mr Ali-Khan’s NHS practice is mostly composed of breast surgery, skin cancer, abdominal and pelvic reconstruction and plastic surgical trauma. He has an interest in all microsurgical reconstruction but particularly of the breast, lower limb and trunk.
