Recommended Plan for Dissection

The flap dissections should be performed in an orderly manner in order not to damage other flaps in the same region with consequent loss of opportunity to study that anatomy. Before starting the dissection of a flap ensure that you know your landmarks well; if not ask a member of the faculty. Make sure you understand fully the anatomy of a flap before moving on to the next one as there will be plenty of time for dissection.
